Robert Morris, originally from Los Angeles, spent summers and every off weekend he could spare in these mountains. The difference in the drinking water at home in LA and the Sierra's was vast. He knew that everyone should be able to experience the taste and purity of these mountains in their own home water.

In 1972 Mr. Morris entered the plumbing trade and in 1976 finished his journeymen training, he has since earned several C-Licenses and a general building license as well as certificates in about every type of plumbing material and process.

In the early ‘80's Robert began installing and servicing Ametek custom water systems and later became an authorized dealer for Kenetico as well as Kiss Reverse Osmosis Systems. A Sear's Authorized Plumber, he also installed water systems and softeners for them throughout the Southern California area.   In the early '90's he began selling, installing and servicing Cuno, Aquapure, Seagull IV, American Plumber and Everpure residential and commercial systems through his company Advanced Plumbing Inc.

Mr. Morris has not only installed thousands of systems throughout Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties but has through several humanitarian organizations installed systems in Mexico, South America and Canada including a de-saliniization system on a hospital ship at sea.

In 1999, Advanced Plumbing Inc turned their water store into a web based catalog and called it Filterpros.com. The web allowed us to expand our reach and expertise from Southern California to the farthest reaches of North America and Alaska.  We are proud to say that we started on the internet long before most of our competitors and have built a thriving business thanks to our loyal repeat customers.

1n 2004 Advanced Plumbing Inc was sold so we could concentrate on our Filterpros clients. We moved here to our present location in the Eastern Sierras with the goal of giving the same great tasting water that comes out of our tap to you where ever you call home.

On May 1st 2007 we opened our second warehouse in Palm Springs California, at this store we service and repair the filter systems we sell and stock our entire line of filters and systems.as well as a showroom with all systems and faucets on display.
